Meeting With Authorities

Pope Francis made his first address during his Apostolic Visit to Mongolia on September 2, at a meeting with the authorities, civil society, and the diplomatic corps of the country. He expressed the hope that "the dark clouds of war may be dispelled, swept away by the firm desire for a universal fraternity wherein tensions are resolved through encounter and dialogue, and the fundamental rights of all people are guaranteed!"
