Salt + Light Plus is Salt + Light Media's low-cost, high-value, subscription-based streaming service. We offer a livestream of our TV broadcast, our full archive of Vatican and Papal events, and hundreds of inspiring Catholic shows and documentaries on-demand. Our auto-renewal subscription service costs $3.99 per month or $39.99 per year. Each subscription includes a 14-day free trial.

We recommend using Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge to get the best experience. Safari and Firefox are also compatible with Salt + Light Plus.

My subscription
Paid subscribers get exclusive digital access to our broadcast livestream and our full catalogue of content, including Salt + Light Media original shows and documentaries. Our archive of Vatican events, Holy Mass from Mary Queen of the World Cathedral in Montreal, and our collection of short prayer and reflection videos are available if you register without a subscription.

If you'd like to subscribe directly in Roku or Amazon Fire, go to “Settings” in the menu bar, click on “My Account” and follow the prompts
If you'd like to subscribe directly in the Android or iOS/tvOS app, open the app and tap the three horizontal lines in the top right (the “hamburger menu”). Tap “Login/Register” and then the blue “Register, it's free!” button, and enter your information.
After you register, you will be prompted to select a subscription package. Whether you register and subscribe at slmedia.org or through the app on your device, your account will work across all our platforms.
On slmedia.org/slplus, we accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. If you subscribe through Amazon Fire, Roku, or your mobile app, please consult the available payment options specific to your platform.

If you'd like to modify your subscription, such as switching from a monthly to an annual subscription, please contact us at [email protected] to submit a request.

We encourage all of our viewers to purchase a subscription along with their registration in order to receive the best possible experience that Salt + Light Plus has to offer. Every subscription comes with a 14-day free trial. However, if you would like to create a free account through Roku, Amazon Fire or on our mobile apps, simply follow the prompts to create an account until you get to the screen asking you to choose a subscription package. If you return to your settings at that point, your registration will have been successful but you will not be charged for a subscription, and you will now be able to watch a limited number of videos, including Masses, prayers, Vatican events, and promotional videos.
Not at all! Once you register and subscribe, you will be able to watch Salt + Light Plus directly on our website. However, our mobile apps will make it easier to watch on the go and have added functions (see below!), and all our apps will make it easier for you to watch Salt + Light Plus on your TV.
Yes. You can log in to the Salt + Light Plus website with the same account you created on your Roku, Amazon Fire, or mobile app.
We're pleased to provide multiple options for you to watch Salt + Light Plus! The Roku and Amazon Fire mobile apps do different things than the Salt + Light Plus mobile apps. The Roku and Amazon Fire apps only allow you to control the device attached to your TV, like a digital remote control. Our new Salt + Light Plus Android and iOS apps allow you to watch videos directly on your phone and organize a “favourites” list (see below).
Yes. You can log in to the Salt + Light Plus app on Roku, Amazon Fire, Android, or iOS with the same account you created through the website.

On Roku or Amazon Fire, go to the “Settings” or “Info” tab, scroll to “Languages,” and select your language of choice.
On the mobile apps: tap “Info” in the hamburger menu, tap this icon:
and select the language you prefer.

You can manage closed captions for each video individually, in its own page.
On slmedia.org/slplus: At the bottom of the video itself, click on the [CC] icon and select
“English” (for on-demand videos), or “CC” (for live-streaming)
On Amazon Fire: once you press play, press the down arrow on your remote control. This will allow you to scroll to highlight the CC button.
On Roku: press the ✱ button on your remote control, which will allow you to access closed captions and other options.
On Android and iOS: ensure the video is in “landscape” (horizontal) mode, tap on the video, and tap the ... icon in the top left.
Note: some videos do not have closed captioning available.
There is no limit to how many devices can be linked to one Salt + Light Plus account. However, only three devices can stream from one account at the same time.
No. It is not possible at this time to download shows and documentaries from Salt + Light Plus.
No, you will not be able to create your own playlist. However, Salt + Light Plus does include curated playlists, some of which will change throughout the year to coincide with major Church or world events and liturgical seasons.
Also, our Android and iOS apps have a wonderful alternative! While you're watching a video, or if you've paused or haven't hit play yet, tap the “heart” icon on the right. This will add that video to your very own “Favourites” list, which you will see at the top of the home screen.

Go to https://slmedia.org/slplus/acc, log in to your account, and click on “Change password” under the heading “Update password.”
If you normally watch Salt + Light Plus on your Amazon Fire or Roku device, going to https://slmedia.org/slplus/acc on your browser or mobile device is also the simplest way to change your password.

Troubleshooting
On slmedia.org/slplus: To reset your password, click “Login” at the top right of the screen, then “Forgot password?” and follow the prompts.
If you normally watch Salt + Light Plus on your Amazon Fire or Roku device, going to following the same instructions on your browser or mobile device is also the simplest way to change your password.

Salt + Light Plus appears on Roku under the name “Salt and Light Media.” To add Salt + Light Plus to your Roku device through the Roku website, click here.
That means you still need to register or log in!
On Roku or Amazon Fire: Go to “Settings” in the menu bar, click on “My Account” and follow the prompts. If you've already registered, go to “Settings,” then “My Account.” Click “Sign In” and enter your credentials (email address and password).
On Android or iOS: Tap the three horizontal lines in the top right (the “hamburger menu”). Tap “Login/Register,” then the blue “Register, it's free!” button, and enter your information. If you've already registered, then simply enter your login credentials after tapping “Login/Register.”
