Technology and Relationships Key to Pope's Message for World Communications Day

Matthew Harrison

If you missed it when it first came out in January, you may want to check out Pope Benedict XVI's MESSAGE for the 43rd World's Day of Communications, which we mark today. It's worth the read, particularly as it discusses how relationships are being formed by new technologies ( I'm thinking particularly of Facebook or Twitter here!).
Still with new technologies, you may have heard about the new Vatican sponsored site The Pope 2 You. It's a neat little site that acts as a portal to the Vatican's page on You Tube, applications for Facebook and your iPhone, H2O News, and more. Definitely worth checking out.
And on this day when we recall communications in our life: we at Salt + Light thank you for your support in helping us bring the Gospel message into your homes -- and we look forward to your continued support as we share the Good News throughout Canada, the United States, and the world! Thank you!
