The Church also commemorates the World Day of Peace today. (You can read Pope Benedict's message for the day, which focuses on religious freedom, here.) As we mark there two occasions, let us pray to our Blessed Mother to lead us ever closer to her Son, the Prince of Peace.  May the stillness on that holy night when the Infant King was born penetrate our hearts ever more deeply this year.
