A joyful and blessed 2011 to all!

Salt + Light Media

Saturday, January 1, 2011

As we enter into a New Year, the Church celebrates the great solemnity of Mary, the Mother of God.
The Church also commemorates the World Day of Peace today. (You can read Pope Benedict's message for the day, which focuses on religious freedom, here.)
As we mark there two occasions, let us pray to our Blessed Mother to lead us ever closer to her Son, the Prince of Peace.  May the stillness on that holy night when the Infant King was born penetrate our hearts ever more deeply this year.
From all of us at Salt + Light Television, we thank you for your generous support throughout 2010 -- in prayer, in kind words, in financial contributions.  With your continued support, we look forward to bringing you another year of quality Catholic programming.
Have a joyful and blessed 2011!
