In episode 2 of Indigenous Voices, we speak with Julia Kozak, a dancer and artist from the Nisga’a Nation in British Columbia, and Allan Jamieson, a Cayuga Elder, educator and promoter of arts and culture.
Indigenous Voices is the result of the many conversations about healing and reconciliation that arose after the discovery of unmarked graves at former residential school sites in Canada. It is our hope that through meeting our guests and hearing their stories about the people, the land, traditions, legends, languages, and cultures, our hearts will be opened in a way that will lead to true healing and true reconciliation.
