July 29 - Arrival at the airport
The Salt + Light Media crew arrived at the airport where they met World Youth Day volunteers and the Missionary Daughters of the Holy Family of Nazareth.
July 31 - Days in the Diocese and press conference
Pilgrims from Japan, Hong Kong, Guatemala, Argentina, and Canada attended the Days in the Diocese and the Salt + Light Media team attended a press conference with the Patriarch of Lisbon, Cardinal Manuel Clemente
August 1: Day One - Canadian National Gathering and Opening Mass
Canadian pilgrims attended the Canadian National Gathering and WYD pilgrims attended the Opening Mass presided over by the Cardinal Patriarch of Lisbon, Manuel Clemente.
August 2: Day Two - Church of St. John of God and catechesis
The Salt + Light Media crew met Palestinian pilgrims at the Church of St. John of God (Igreja de São João de Deus) and listened to catechesis given by Bishop Stephen Chow.
August 3: Day Three - Welcome Ceremony and catechesis
The Holy Father arrived for the Welcome Ceremony where flag bearers greeted him. The Salt + Light Media team also met Archbishop Peter Chung Soon Taek and others and listened to catechesis given by Archbishop Thomas Chung An-zu.
August 4: Day Four - Outdoor Rosary and Adoration
The Salt + Light Media prayed the Rosary with pilgrims at the Church of St. John of God (Igreja de São João de Deus) and went for Adoration hosted by Catholic Christian Outreach (CCO) at the Basilica of Our Lady of the Martyrs.
August 5: Day Five - Field of Grace
Pilgrims gathered at the Field of Grace (Campo da Graça), the chosen name for Tagus Park (Parque Tejo) in preparation for the Vigil.
August 6: Day Six - Final Day
Pilgrims stayed overnight for the Vigil and in the morning was the Closing Mass. Afterwards, Pope Francis met with WYD volunteers.
