Advent is a season of hope and anticipation as we prepare to celebrate the Nativity of Christ at Christmas and Jesus' return in the second coming of Christ. We invite you to journey with us through our shows, programs, and blog articles as we reflect on and prepare for Christ's birth.
Pope Francis will make his 36th apostolic journey abroad to Malta on April 2 & 3.
The theme of this visit is They Showed Us Unusual Kindness (Acts 28:2) . The visit will highlight the dangerous journeys displaced people embark upon when crossing the Mediterranean Sea.
The theme is also linked to the generous reception St. Paul received in 60 AD when he was shipwrecked upon the shores of Malta.
The Holy Father's visit will include a visit to the Grotto of St. Paul at the basilica in Rabat and a prayer meeting at the National Shrine of Ta'Pinu.

From July 24-29, 2022, the eyes of the world were on Canada. It was Pope Francis 37th International Journey, the first time a pope came here in 20 years. It was also a penitential Journey, where the pope came to ask for forgiveness for the suffering and abuse inflicted on Indigenous children while attending Catholic-run Residential Schools.
Walking Together
Walking Together is a Salt + Light Media original documentary about Canada's residential schools, the ongoing process of reconciliation which led to Pope Francis' apology in 2022, and the long road ahead for healing and reconciliation between the Catholic Church and the Indigenous Peoples of Canada.
