Inspired by Pope Francis’ Encyclical, Laudato Si’, an unlikely group of characters come together to address the many climate-related challenges of our day. Focusing on advancing Carbon Dioxide Removal as an essential focus of climate solutions while bridging the left-right divide on climate action, this group is motivated by hope and committed to create sustained, broad climate impact that would not have happened otherwise. Produced in partnership with the Laudato Si’ Challenge Foundation, Salt + Light Media’s Answering the Cry of the Earth features Carbon Removal stories of success and addresses the need to mobilize around environmental action. It shows that economic and environmental success go hand-in-hand and that everyone, no matter their ideology has a seat at the table of ongoing dialogue concerning all things climate and motivates everyone in their efforts to care for our common home.
