Pope Leo XIV continues with official meetings and gatherings. At the beginning of his pontificate, he encounters the world, and a special group in particular.

In his first days as pope, amidst a series of official engagements, Pope Leo XIV visits a beloved shrine and the tombs of two of his predecessors.

Deacon Pedro joins Fr. Haig to explore the events of the last days in more depth, including Pope Leo XIV’s Mass with the Cardinals.

Fr. Haig looks back to the historic announcement of May 8. We hear from various pilgrims who were in St Peter’s Square, and from several Canadian Cardinals.

On the first day of the Conclave, we begin by looking back to the end of the Novendiali Masses. We then follow the Mass for Electing the Roman Pontiff and the Cardinals’ entrance into the Conclave for the first voting session.

The Novendiali Masses: We are now halfway between Pope Francis’ funeral on April 26 and the beginning of the Conclave beginning May 7. Fr. Haig Chahinian looks at the Novendiali Masses for Pope Francis and what they can teach us during this time of mourning, memory, and mission.

Post-Funeral Update: Our journey begins with the Funeral for Pope Francis in St. Peter’s Square. The Church commends our late Holy Father into our Heavenly Father’s everlasting arms, and embarks on the nine days of mourning known as the Novendiali. Fr. Haig speaks with President of the CCCB, Bishop William McGrattan and Salt + Light Media's Rome Correspondent, Julian Paparella, who both attended Pope Francis' Funeral.
