教宗在《聖母德敍禱文》中新增三個呼求聖母的名號

在教宗方濟各的授意下，教廷禮儀及聖事部在2020年6月20日向各國主教團發表公開信，宣布在《聖母德敍禱文》（Litanie Lauretane）中增加三個新的聖母名號，即:慈悲之母、望德之母和移民之慰。三個新的聖母名號分別在原禱文的教會之母、天主寵愛之母和罪人之托之後加入。
禮儀及聖事部秘書長羅奇（Arthur Roche）總主教就增加《聖母德敍禱文》中新名號一事接受本新聞網的採訪，他解釋道，古老的《聖母德敍禱文》起源於意大利洛雷托聖家朝聖地，它與教會和人類的生活息息相關。他提醒說，歷代的教宗曾在《聖母德敍禱文》中添加呼求聖母的名號，像是聖若望保祿二世教宗就增添了“家庭之母”。這些名號都回應了時代的需求，懇求聖母幫助人們面對時代的挑戰。
羅奇總主教最後總結道:「我們都知道玫瑰經是一個強而有力的祈禱。對於那些正遭受新冠肺炎磨難的人們，其中包括那些離開自己故土的移民，此刻向聖母呼求極為重要。」
