New Episode of Word for Word: Mission

Gillian Kantor

Thursday, December 16, 2010

We all have dreams. We all have goals. But  how many of us would say we are on a mission? But, yes, ultimately, that’s what we’re doing here on earth: carrying on the mission of Christ. On this upcoming episode of Word for Word, we meet a couple who embraced mission work as part of their love story. Deacon Bill and Molly Callaghan have spent much of their retirement in Canada’s mission communities, helping to spread the Gospel, train lay leaders, and be the face of Christ to the people they served. Now Molly shares their stories in the book, Walk with Us for a While. We also sit down with Patria Rivera, editor of Catholic Missions in Canada Magazine, who tells us  how the sharing of stories from our mission dioceses is important for all Canadians.
Watch Word for Word on Friday December 17th at 9pm ET
