Salt + Light Media

Sunday, April 7, 2013

On April 7, 2013, celebrated by the Church as Divine Mercy Sunday, Pope Francis recited the traditional Regina Caeli devotion from his window overlooking St. Peter's Square. During his address before the Marian prayers, he spoke about the "beatitude of faith" of those who have not seen the Risen Jesus as the apostles did, and yet have believed.
Later this morning at 10:45 am ET/7:45 am PT, airing live on S+L TV and streaming online, the Holy Father will celebrate mass to take possession of the Archbasilica of St. John Lateran, which is the Cathedral of the Bishop of Rome. For repeat broadcast times of the Regina Caeli and the Mass from St. John Lateran, visit S+L's Easter page.
