The first day of Pope Benedict's trip to the Holy Land has come to a close. He arrived in Jordan today and was greeted by the King Abdullah II and his wife Queen Rania (on her Twitter account, the Queen wrote
"Special day here in Amman; not everyday pope drops by 4 a visit"). After a welcome address, the Holy Father visited the Regina Pacis Centre, a centre operated by the Church for disabled people. There he was greeted by the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, His Beatitude Archbishop Fouad Twal . For a recap, check out the Friday, May 8th edition of Zoom
