International Award in memory of former Cardinal of Milan

The Archdiocese of Milan has instituted an international contest in memory of Cardinal Carlo Maria Martini who led the archdiocese from 1980 to 2002.
The Carlo Maria Martini International Award is open to everyone over the age of 18.  Participants must submit a written work or a project outline that either raises awareness of Carinal Martini's writings and teachings or, in the spirit of the late cardinal's work, aims to develop the relationship between the bible and modern culture.
The deadline for submissions is August 31st, 2013. For more details, including an application form, visit the website martiniaward.it
