Thursday, March 13, 2025

Calling all students in grades 9-12! Create a 3-minute video exploring how faith can bridge divides and foster unity. Cash prizes available!
The Office for Interreligious Dialogue and the Dominican Friars of Toronto invite students in grades 9-12 to participate in the 2025 Youth Interfaith Video Contest. This year's theme, "Faith as a Pathway from Division to Unity," encourages participants to explore how faith can be a unifying force in our divided world.
In a time of increasing division and conflict, the contest asks students to reflect on how love, compassion, and interfaith dialogue can help bridge divides, build understanding, and foster unity. Participants are invited to create videos that demonstrate the transformative power of faith and collaboration, showing how, by coming together with respect and empathy, we can overcome the challenges we face and work toward a more peaceful and harmonious future.

Eligibility:

  • Open to students in grades 9-12.
  • Each participating school may submit up to three entries.

Prizes:

  • 1st Prize: $650 CAD
  • 2nd Prize: $350 CAD
  • 3rd Prize: $200 CAD
Submission Deadline: April 15, 2025 (by 3:00 p.m.)
You still have time to enter the contest!
