Here're some facts from the official page from Canada Helps:
It started right here in Canada in 2013. Canada Helps partnered with 14 other organizations that support nonprofits across the country.
GivingTuesday is now in over 80 countries around the globe, as they seek to “inspire generosity around the world” and “create a world where giving is part of everyday life.”
On GivingTuesday 2022, millions of Canadians showed up!
47 Canadian organizations took part.
Online donations totaled $50.5 million.
Canadians gave 3,682 pounds of pet food.
Ontario alone had 83 new organ donors sign up!
That’s some amazing momentum!
