Salt + Light producer Gillian Kantor has been busy working on a second season of our book show Word for Word ... all while taking care of her one and half year old son Joseph, and just passing the midway point of her pregnancy with another little bundle of joy!

Keeping the Faith in My Domestic Church by Gillian Kantor One recent morning, my son tried flushing a rosary down the toilet. In a moment of desperately needing a plaything to occupy my one-and-a-half year-old’s busy hands, I had offered him my rosary and cheerily thought it was so sweet, so holy, to see his chubby fingers grasping the beads. That is, until a moment and a turned-back later, those same fingers lifted the toilet lid and tossed in the once-rose-scented rosary. Continue reading
