From Quebec to the Vatican: Catching up with Cardinal Ouellet

The Roman Curia has always had a distinctly Italian composition. But under the pontificate of Benedict XVI, several non-Italians have assumed key posts in the central government of the Catholic Church. One of those prelates is Canadian Cardinal Marc Ouellet, formerly the Archbishop of Quebec and now the Prefect of the Congregation for Bishops and President of the Pontifical Commission for Latin America.
This Sunday on Witness, Cardinal Ouellet welcomes Fr. Thomas Rosica to his Vatican office for an interview -- one of only a handful he has granted since assuming his new post. The Cardinal reflects on his tenure in Quebec and shares what it's like to now work as one of Pope Benedict's close collaborators. This special Witness airs Sunday night at 8:00pm ET / 5:00pm PT, repeating at midnight ET / 9:00pm PT, and again at those same times on Thursday evening.
