The XVI General Ordinary Assembly of the Synod of the Bishops is happening at the Paul VI Audience Hall at the Vatican. Among the over 400 participants at the Synod are participants from China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. Cardinal Stephen Chow, the Bishop of the Diocese of Hong Kong, posted two photos of himself with bishops and priests from China and Taiwan at the Assembly of the Synod on his personal Facebook account, which he authorized us to share here. He also mentioned that Pope Francis was very happy that all the brother bishops could gather together, and asks us to "pray for the Synod and for more opportunities for the churches on both sides of the Strait to experience unity and communion in the Christian way."
